A wine tour in Gengenbach means more than just drinking wine. It is a journey through the vines, where you can enjoy the beauty of nature and the flavour of the grapes. Join a guided tour and discover the beautiful vineyards that make our region so unique.
The Baden Wine Cycle Route starts in Grenzach near the Swiss border, just 3 kilometres from Basel. From there, it leads through the picturesque Markgräflerland and past the vineyards of Tuniberg and Kaiserstuhl. Alternatively, you can choose a route via Freiburg’s historic city centre and the Glottertal valley.
The route continues through the vineyards of Breisgau into Ortenau, past Ortenberg Castle. It then continues towards Karlsruhe and through the Kraichgau region before ending in Heidelberg. The tour finally ends in Laudenbach on the Badische Bergstraße, about 10 kilometres behind Weinheim.
