Experience the journey from the vine to the glass on our exclusive wine walks. Start directly at the winery and enjoy a guided tour through the picturesque vineyards to our “Gengenbacher Nollenköpfle” vineyard.
Afterwards, an exclusive wine tasting awaits you in our vinotheque, where you will taste six selected wines.

Moosturm round walk

This hike takes you up to the Moosturm, a viewing tower from which you have a fantastic view over the Black Forest and the Rhine Valley. The round walk is well signposted and offers both scenic beauty and cultural highlights.

Kinzigtäler Jakobusweg (Way of St. James)

The Kinzigtäler Jakobusweg is an absolute highlight for anyone who wants to experience a special hike. This trail takes you through the impressive landscape of the Black Forest and offers you the opportunity to walk in the footsteps of the pilgrims.

Westweg

The Westweg is one of the most famous long-distance hiking trails in the Black Forest. It runs from Pforzheim to Basel and offers spectacular views and varied landscapes. Part of this trail also runs near Gengenbach and is ideal for a day hike.

Ortenau wine trail

This beautiful path winds its way through the region’s vineyards. It not only offers you marvellous views, but also the opportunity to taste the regional wines directly from the winegrowers.

A highlight for all night owls

You can experience the historic old town from a whole new perspective with a guided night walk with the Gengenbach night watchmen.

Mummelsee

Situated at an altitude of 1,036 metres, this cirque lake offers an impressive backdrop and is a popular starting point for hikes to the surrounding peaks. Enjoy the fresh mountain air and the unique atmosphere of this legendary lake.

Gifiz See

Just a short drive from Gengenbach, this lake is a popular destination for families and nature lovers. It offers opportunities for swimming, stand-up paddling and boating. There are beautiful hiking trails around the lake and picnic areas that invite you to relax.
